Position Summary & Key Areas Of Responsibility
Learning & Development Specialists play a key role in coordinating, instructing, and designing training and learning plans to enhance the knowledge and skills of our project management teams. They collaborate closely with project managers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective learning initiatives that align with NCR Atleos' goals and objectives. The Learning & Development Specialist reports to the Learning & Development Manager and has the overall responsibility provide the Global PMO teams with the training required to be successful in their roles.
Responsibilities Include
Training Coordination:
- Collaborate with teams within the Global PMO to identify training needs and develop comprehensive learning plans.
- Coordinate the logistics of training programs, including scheduling, venue or delivery-method selection, participant registration, and material preparation.
Instruction And Facilitation
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to teams within the Global PMO, utilizing various instructional techniques and formats.
- Develop and deliver training content related to project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Conduct workshops, webinars, and presentations to promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Learning Design And Development
- Develop learning materials, such as instructional guides, presentations, e-learning modules, and job aids, using instructional design principles.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and Global PMO teams to create relevant and up-to-date training content.
- Leverage technology and innovative approaches to enhance the learning experience, including the use of e-learning platforms.
Evaluation And Improvement
- Assess the effectiveness of training initiatives through various evaluation methods, such as post-training assessments and surveys.
- Analyze feedback and data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancing the learning experience.
- Continuously stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in project management and adult learning.
Global Collaboration And Partnership
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key functional partners across NCR Atleos to drive collaboration and alignment.
- Develop and maintain governance and alignment on training initiatives with other key functions in NCR Atleos
Qualifications
- University degree or College diploma or relevant industry experience..
- Proven experience as a Learning Specialist or similar role, preferably in a project management or related environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, quickly respond, and prioritize between multiple demands.
- Ability to work with internal and external partners at various levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows to perform daily tasks.
- Able to demonstrate prior experience of establishing and rolling out new training and development initiatives
- Demonstrate exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Passionate about innovation, technology and driving positive customer experience.
