National Key Account Manager in Serbia
to join our
Sales Department
.
MittelCo is an Italian Company specialized in international distribution of premium Italian brands (FMCG) in Adriatic Region and Italy.
Job Purpose:
The National Key Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to manage and grow relationships with key national retail accounts. This role ensures the achievement of sales targets, profitability, and market share growth within the FMCG sector in Serbia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key national retail chains and distributors.
- Negotiate annual contracts, trade terms, and promotional agreements.
Monitor and analyze account performance to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive sales growth and profitability across assigned accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop tailored strategies for each key account.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure seamless execution.
Planning & Forecasting:
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets for key accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to inform strategic decisions.
Ensure optimal product assortment, pricing, and promotional planning.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior management.
Analyze ROI of trade marketing activities and recommend improvements.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with field sales teams to ensure execution of national strategies at store level.
- Support training and development initiatives for account teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Key Account Management within the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of managing large retail accounts and delivering results.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluent in Serbian and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/CRM systems.
