Job Description

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is the our Company Oncology point of contact in the allocated region and accounts. KAM will report to Sales Manager Oncology.

In collaboration and alignment with oncology team, KAM needs to provide a highly effective customer experience, ensuring that our Company delivers value to patients, payers and physicians and become a trusted partner.   

We offer Fixed term position for 1 year with possibility to be extended.

The KAS sales and financial responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for business result within assigned accounts - achieving/exceeding sales targets and agreed KPI's but staying within the approved promotional budgets
  • Account/ Business plan development
  • Account prioritization, setting goals for priority accounts and evaluation of achievements 

 The KAS Customer engagement responsibilities:

  • Anticipation of customer needs and ensuring good product knowledge of Key Customers
  • High level of scientific/clinical knowledge is required to provide approved disease & therapeutic solutions (e.g. approved product information and patient education) to key decision makers and stakeholders.
  • Creating and managing long-term relationships and partnerships with Key Customers
  • Establish and develop relations with Key Decision Makers (Head of Accounts, Account Financial directors, Head of Hospital departments, Hospital Health Committees, Pharmacists) providing sufficient support materials and information on our Company products
  • The KAS is familiar with principles of health economics and the clinical implications. Proactively identifies business opportunities and supports appropriate pull-through and understands current state and evolving landscape of integrated payers in the country
  • Developing and implementing activity plans for Key Customers

 The KAS collaboration responsibilities:

  • Implementation and evaluation of Marketing strategy
  • Active participation at regular Brand Team business update meetings
  • Providing business feedback and local expertise to Brand Team
  • Initiation and coordination cross-functional team within our Company to develop projects that respond to customers and business needs in assigned accounts.
  • Administrative tasks like CRM, national, regional events coordination
  • Under his/her responsibility assures highest ethical principles conducting Local law, our Company SOPs and regulations
  • Ability to work in a very complex setting and across many functions and levels and across different customer types
  • 10% international. 50% Domestic traveling
  • 80% of time spent with customers

Education & Experience

  • Minimum: Healthcare education, Bachelor or University degree from accredited university, preferably Medical Doctor or Pharmacists
  • Commercial experience within Pharma- preferable of 2 years minimum.
  • Experience in a hospital environment is preferable
  • Ability to manage key external stakeholders, to influence without authority, and to create and carry out action plans in matrix cross-functional team structures
  • Exhibit strong problem solving, project planning, teamwork, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in conversational and written English
