Belgrade, Central Serbia Rivian Full time €90,000 - €120,000 per year

About Rivian
Rivian is on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever. This goes for the emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles we build, and the curious, courageous souls we seek to attract.

As a company, we constantly challenge what's possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.

Role Summary
The Centralized Standards Team in Rivian's Facilities organization is seeking an architectural standards expert. In this multifaceted role, you will drive the development and evolution of our design and program standards to ensure consistency across our entire fleet, working with various teams in North America. We are looking for an architecture professional with a systems-oriented approach to problem-solving who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment. As a member of the Centralized Design team, your responsibilities will include owning the Revit drafting and modeling of in-house standards, maintaining product and equipment catalogs, and engaging with cross-functional teams. The Commercial Facilities organization delivers a high volume of projects annually, and this role will be instrumental in supporting our significant scaling efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Own the organization and maintenance of two Revit files used to communicate standards to AEOR partners:

○ A Container File containing 3D information for all commercial (Service, Retail and Charging) projects; and

○ A Project Starter Template File which contains a templatized sheet list, standard details, schedules, legends and other content to provide our teams with a consistent starting point for project kick off.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (End Users, Building Engineering, Execution/Deployment, Operations and AV/IT/SEC) to gather feedback and develop scalable standards/guidelines;
  • Collaborate with key partners like Building Experience and Purchasing to align/influence branding and procurement strategies from a standards development perspective
  • Ingest and track requests for updated content across the Facilities Commercial organization and relevant partner teams;
  • Own maintenance of the container model and project starter template including updating 3D content upon request and ensuring our space type data sheets are coordinated and updated;
  • Collaborate with multiple crossfunctional teams to collate and filter markups of documentation deliverables in Bluebeam Sessions;
  • Create new space type data sheets and supporting content when needed;
  • Own the development of and maintenance of 2D & 3D assets. Ensuring metadata is present and consistent, scheduling is functioning correctly and content needed across architecture and engineering disciplines is up to date;
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our product catalogs are up to date and coordinated with the Revit content on a minimum monthly basis;
  • Own the development and maintenance of 3D information, schedules, legends and sheets in the Revit Models
  • Proactively suggest improvements to models or process to support Rivian's scaling portfolio;
  • Work with our internal Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team to QC updates to both files
  • Collaborate with various teams (Facilities, Operations etc) based in North America across multiple time zones.

Qualifications
To successfully perform the typical tasks and duties of the position, the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities listed below are required:

  • A bachelor's degree in architecture, architectural engineering or similar is preferred with knowledge of engineering drawings and specifications
  • Advanced Revit proficiency with minimum 5-7 years professional experience
  • Advanced Revit proficiency modeling parametric Revit families varying in complexity and scale.
  • Advanced Revit proficiency developing and managing large drawing sets for Architecture and MEPS
