Our client is a global technology corporation with offices across the world. Working with the European Workplace Management department, we are seeking to appoint an independent contractor/freelancer as
Workplace Coordinator, Serbia
with the following objectives:

Purpose:

To act as the on-site representative of the Regional (European) Workplace team, overseeing the day-to-day coordination and delivery of workplace operations and office expansion activities for the client's newly acquired offices in Novi Sad, Serbia.

What will you be doing? Key Services/Responsibilities:

  • Office expansion coordination: support and track the fit-out and addition of new office floors; liaise with contractors, landlords, and internal stakeholders to ensure quality, timelines, and budget are met.
  • Facilities operations: ensure the Novi Sad office environment is safe, compliant, and fully functional, including maintenance, repairs, and space readiness.
  • Workplace experience: maintain a high standard of workplace presentation and functionality, ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • Vendor and supplier management: coordinate with service providers for cleaning, maintenance, security, and oversee onsite installation works.
  • Health, Safety & Environment: monitor compliance with company safety standards and local regulations; support emergency and safety procedures.
  • Budget & reporting: track operating and project-related costs; report progress and issues to the Regional Workplace Manager.
  • Daily site presence: act as the primary on-site contact for all workplace matters in Novi Sad, ensuring smooth communication between the local site and regional teams.

What are we looking for? Profile & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience in workplace, facilities, commercial real estate, or office management
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, with hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Experience managing office fit-outs, refurbishments, or space expansions
  • Fluent in Serbian and English.
  • Comfortable being
    on-site five days per week in central Novi Sad
    and managing multiple vendors and stakeholders

Important Note: to be considered, you must:

  • be available to start in the next 4-5 weeks
  • be available to be onsite in Novi Sad offices 5 days per week
  • be eligible to register and work as self-employed/freelancer in Serbia
