Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled IT Asset Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing our IT assets, ensuring they are properly inventoried, tracked, and maintained.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in IT asset management, with experience in tracking software subscriptions, hardware purchases, and vendor management.

You will be responsible for creating and improving organizational asset policies, as well as maintaining records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software.

Additionally, you will be expected to test and evaluate returned equipment, process end-of-life equipment, and track and replenish warehouse stocks.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least three years of experience in IT asset management, preferably in a large and complex organization.
  • A technical knowledge of various IT assets, such as hardware, software, network, and cloud services.
  • A proven ability to develop and implement ITAM strategy and policy, inventory management and reporting, vendor management and negotiation.
  • A high level of communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • A passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with the latest trends and developments in the IT industry.
