Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven New Business Account Executive to join our expanding sales team. The ideal candidate will be a hunter with a proven track record of generating new business, building strong client relationships, and consistently exceeding sales targets. As an Account Executive at Pracedo, you will play a critical role in driving our growth by identifying new opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and representing Pracedo as a trusted advisor to prospective clients.
You will be able to demonstrate your commercial awareness of the Salesforce ecosystem and a broad understanding of CRM, Marketing Automation and CDP solutions. You will be self-motivated, determined, confident in making decisions, and have plenty of opportunities to grow and increase responsibility.
Our deal sizes can range from £50K-£2Mil, with a sales cycle of anywhere from one to 8 months, so an ability to manage multiple opportunities successfully is also very important to the role. Typically, opportunities will be generated through the relationships you build with key members in the Salesforce industry and through Pracedo lead generation, which includes our in-house Marketing and Alliances teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive New Business: Ruthlessly hunt for and acquire new logo clients. This means proactively identifying, engaging, and securing new business opportunities from lead generation to deal closure.
- Pipeline Ownership: Take full ownership of the sales pipeline, from initial contact to contract negotiation. You'll manage every stage of the sales cycle, building a robust pipeline that consistently delivers against ambitious targets.
- Consultative Sales: Act as a trusted advisor, conducting deep-dive discovery to understand a prospect's unique business challenges. You'll then work with our technical team to craft and present bespoke Salesforce solutions that directly address their needs and pain points.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations and be responsible for closing deals to exceed your quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Market Leadership: Continuously monitor market trends and stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce innovations to effectively position Pracedo as the go-to consultancy for new prospects.
- Relationship Building: Forge strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organizations.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the marketing team to support lead generation campaigns and with the delivery team to ensure a seamless transition from sales to project delivery.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM (Salesforce) and provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance against targets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as an Account Executive, Sales Manager, or similar role, with a strong focus on B2B software or professional services sales.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Previous experience working in or selling for a Salesforce Consultancy is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform and its various clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.).
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust quickly with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and an understanding of how technology can solve complex business problems.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience with Salesforce as a CRM is a significant advantage.
