About The Role And The Team
The Release Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end release process in a technology environment, ensuring that new software and product updates are delivered efficiently, on time, and with high quality. The Release Manager coordinates with various teams including development, testing, operations, and QA to streamline the release lifecycle, from planning to deployment. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, technical understanding, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

What will you be doing?

• Develop and manage the release calendar, working closely with stakeholders to align release schedules with business needs
• Coordinate the release process across multiple teams, ensuring that all dependencies are identified and managed effectively.
• Establish and enforce release governance processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Oversee the deployment of releases to production environments, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
• Monitor the health and performance of releases post-deployment, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
• Prepare and present release status reports, highlighting key metrics, risks, and issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitate post-release reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the release process

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in release management, software development, or related roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant experience in the telecommunications or ISP - DESIRABLE
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle - DESIRABLE
