Role Overview
The Sales Manager – Electronic Components will play a key role in expanding Telcona's market presence by maintaining and developing strong relationships with customers and suppliers across Europe, with a particular focus on the German-speaking market.
This position requires fluent German and English communication skills, a proactive approach to customer acquisition, and a solid understanding of electronic components and applications. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, international environment, where sales, technology, and customer service come together.
Key Responsibilities
As part of your daily work, your main responsibilities include:
- Proactive customer acquisition
– establish initial contact, identify new business opportunities, and develop long-term relationships with customers in the DACH region. - Daily communication with existing and potential customers by phone and email in German and English.
- Promote and sell our portfolio of electronic components: frequency-control parts, batteries, relays, connectors, sensors, LEDs, and other electromechanical components.
- Understand customer needs, provide product information, and coordinate with the technical team to prepare suitable quotations and solutions.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery terms in coordination with suppliers and the procurement team.
- Maintain CRM and ERP records, monitor sales progress, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate closely with technical, logistics, and management teams to ensure seamless customer support and order processing.
- Participate in supplier meetings, training sessions, and trade fairs to stay informed on new technologies and market trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably in Business, Electrical Engineering, or related fields).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or key account management (preferably in electronic components or B2B technical sales).
- Fluent in German (C1 or native level)
– daily communication with customers and suppliers. - Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of other European languages is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Interest in technology and basic understanding of electronic components.

- Willingness to travel for customer visits, supplier audits, and international fairs.
